‎‎The Customs Area Controller in charge of Port Harcourt II Area Command, Comptroller Aliyu M Alkali has attributed the historic revenue milestone of N76.07 billion generated in October 2025 to deliberate and conscious stakeholders’ engagement strategy.‎‎

In a statement signed by the Command’s spokesperson, Chief Superintendent of Customs, Theophilus Duniya, on 3 November 2025, Comptroller Alkali explained that the landmark achievement of N76,075,447,369. 83 was a result of the ongoing dialogue with stakeholders and consistent engagement with Unit heads.

“These initiatives have significantly contributed to the improved revenue performance,” he stated.

‎‎Comptroller Alkali said the figure marks the highest monthly revenue record in the Command’s history, underscoring the impact of effective leadership and collaborative efforts by the Command.‎‎

While expressing gratitude to all Ports Stakeholders, importers and licenced agents, Officers and Men of the Command for their patriotism, synergy, and commitment to joint effort towards the historic achievement, the Area Controller pushed for more dedication towards sustaining the momentum and striving for greater accomplishments in the coming months.

‎‎He added, “This milestone is a testament to what we can achieve through effective teamwork, and dedication to national development. We shall continue to strengthen our system to sustain this momentum”.

The exceptional performance underscored Comptroller Alkali’s unwavering commitment to national economic growth through effective revenue generation, enforcement compliance with international trade regulations and facilitating legitimate trade.

‎‎Comptroller Alkali has always deployed Officers to their stations based on operational needs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficiency across the Command.

This proactive measure has continued to enhance the Command’s capacity to meet and exceed its monthly revenue targets.‎‎
