Comptroller Olu Adebisi has handed over leadership of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to Comptroller Victoria Chinwe Aliboh in a brief hand-over ceremony held on 24 June 2025 at the Command’s Conference Hall, Abuja.

In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Customs, Jude Ansha, the hand-over ceremony was witnessed by Officers and Men of the Command in a closed door section at the Hall.

According to the statement, Comptroller Adebisi’s tenure was marked by several landmark achievements, depicting his exceptional leadership and dedication to the Service.

The impressive performance include: revenue generation, ensuring compliance of excise factories, establishing of Bonded Terminals, among others.

In a remark, Comptroller Adebisi, who spent a year and nine months in the Command, commended Officers and Men of the command for their dedication and cooperation given to him during his tenure.

He acknowledged the incoming CAC’s prowess as a seasoned career officer from the Department of ICT & Modernization at the Headquarters where she served as Comptroller Risk Management with a track record of excellence and appealed to the Officers of the command to work collaboratively with the new CAC in order to achieve the set mandate as outlined by the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR.

The new Area Controller, Comptroller Victoria Chinwe ALIBOH, on her part, appreciated the outgoing CAC for bringing his expertise to bear during his tenure, congratulated him on the successful completion of his career as a Customs Officer and wished him a happy retirement life.

She also solicited the cooperation and support of the Officers to achieve the mandate of the CGC.

The Assistant Comptrollers, Staff Officer Generals, and other senior officers present at the ceremony showered Comptroller Adebisi with praise and appreciation, highlighting his dedication and service to the Command. Their goodwill messages relayed respect and admiration for his leadership.
