The remains of late Mama Margaret Onuzurike, mother of Faithwin Nwaogu of the Public Relations Unit, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency ( NIMASA) was laid to rest on Friday, 2 May 2025, in her hometown of Amaogwugwu Ohuhu, Umuahia North, Abia State.

The funeral service was officiated by Pastor Isaac Okereke, who testified to her fulfilled Christian life.

Pastor Okereke described Late Margaret Chidinma Onuzuruike as a true soldier of the Cross and a follower of the Lamb, having been baptized in 1956.

He said “Ever since she and her husband embraced the Gospel under Faith Tabernacle Congregation Church, she was never shaken in her faith.

“Despite the fact she suffered great trials and temptations, she maintained her steadfast belief and trust in God”.

He charged everyone to emulate her good works of faith, and embrace Christ just like mama Onuzuruike, noting that she has fought the good fight of faith and gone to rest in the Lord.

Amid pain and tears, the children, friends, relatives and relations said mama will be greatly missed.

Mr. Uchenna Onuzurike, speaking on behalf of the family, expressed gratitude to God for the years they spent with their mother and thanked friends and well-wishers for their support.
