The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, on Monday, 28 April 2025, held its regular management meeting at its headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, to discuss strategies for boosting efficiency in its core operations.

In a photo news and short message shared by the Public Relations Unit of the Service, the meeting, chaired by the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, aimed at improving the Service performance in three key areas including: Revenue Collection– Enhancing revenue collection processes to optimize government revenue.

Trade Facilitation: Streamlining trade processes to promote economic growth and development.

Suppression of Smuggling: Strengthening measures to prevent smuggling and protect local industries.

The meeting also underscored Nigeria Customs Service commitment to improving its operations and contributing to Nigeria’s economic development.

This shows that the Agency aims to better serve the nation and promote economic growth.
