Customs Area Controller, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Olu Emmanuel Adebisi and his management team hosted the Ooni of Ife HRM, Oba, Dr. Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, OJAJA, II on Monday, 16 December 2024, at the Command Office complex, FCT-Abuja on a familiarization visit.
In a statement signed by the Command’s image maker, DSC Jude Tavershima Ansha, the Royal Majesty expressed gratitude for the warm reception received from the Area Controller and his team despite the short notice, informing that the familiarization visit was to check the team’s wellbeing and performance.
Oba Adeyeye further expressed satisfaction on the level of achievements and contributions the team has made to the Service so far and gave the team his Royal and fatherly blessings and also admonished them to be diligent in carrying out their statutory duties.
In his remarks, Comptroller Adebisi expressed appreciation to Ooni of Ife for the familiarization visit to the Command saying, “The visit is a moral booster and encouragement to keep working hard for the betterment of the country. Other paramount rulers should endeavor to emulate this act by visiting their sons and daughters to encourage them to continue the good work they are doing for the nation”.
