Relevant Stakeholders in the maritime industry have confirmed participation in the 19th edition of TransQuest Anniversary/Transport Development Symposium & Award with a theme “Harnessing Nigeria’s Trade Tariff System for Economic Growth” and a sub theme: Curbing Influx of Fraudulent Imports through the Nation’s Ports”, scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 09, 2024 at Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja by 11am prompt.
The seminar/award organised by the Publisher, Transquest Magazine, Mr. Felix Kumuyi, will be chaired by the renowned and highly revered customs broker, Prince Olayiwola Shittu, CEO, Skelas Group of Companies, and former ANLCA President, while the guest lecturer for the day is Professor Bamidele Badejo, Department of Geography, Olabisi Onabnjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, a well known and respected professor with decades of impactful tutorship in various sectors.
Speaking on other reputable personalities expected to grace the occasion, Kumuyi revealed that Comptroller General of Customs Adewale Adeniyi, Barrister Pius Akutah Ukeyima, the Executive Secretary/CEO of Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, top relevant players coming.

Mr. Kumuyi noted that the event is a spark of efforts by his reputable Magazine, which has been a Watchdog in media practice for about two decades, to contribute its quota to the growth and development of the maritime/transport sector. .
