The president of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi has congratulated Abubakar Dantsoho on his appointment as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

While addressing journalists on Tuesday, High Chief Ezisi stressed that the appointment of Mr. Dantsoho by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a great  testament to his career experiences, professional competence and administrative acumen.

He expressed confidence that the new managing director will use his extensive career experience to revitalise, reposition and reengineer operations at NPA, as this will foster seamless ports operation and promotes economic advancement in the country.

Chief Ezisi equally identified areas that needs urgent intervention saying, Mr. Dantsoho should address salient issues as insecurity level, repair of Port quays, staff welfare and revisiting of Port concession agreement as well as the continuous repair of Ports access roads for free traffic.

Chief Ezisi further expressed optimism that the new NPA’s Helmsman will foster greater development in the Maritime Sector with his actions and also pave way for seamless Port operations.
