The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olumuyiwa Adejobi has Strengthened Interagency ties with the National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC), Abdullahi Maiwada towards enhancing national security and economic prosperity.
During a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Customs Service headquarters in Abuja On 9 July 2024, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stressed how the role of the two agencies is crucial to national security and economic stability, emphasizing by working together, both agencies can better discharge their responsibilities and serve the public more effectively”.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Customs Service.
In response, CSC Abdullahi Maiwada, who appreciated the presence of the ACP, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration.
To him, “The visit is a significant step towards strengthening relationship with the Nigeria Police Force as our combined efforts will undoubtedly enhance our operational efficiency and public service delivery”.
The meeting did not only focused on identifying areas of mutual interest where both agencies can cooperate to improve their functions and foster a positive image for both institutions, It also pave way for mutual pledge to enhance national security and economic prosperity.
