As part of the move to commemorate 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, the Customs Area Controller of Apapa Command, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu PhD fsi, in collaboration with the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port engaged in solidarity work against drug abuse.

The CAC joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse.

The Customs boss noted that such collaboration between sister agencies of government is crucial for intelligence sharing and ensuring public safety.

He equally stated that by working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone.
