As part of the commitment to prioritizing export, Sustaining the increase in number of export cargo coming from the Authority’s licensing of Export Processing Terminals (EPTs), Managing Director/ CEO Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Mohammed Bello KoKo has on Monday 27th May, 2024, received executives of the Satellite Truck Park Owners Association at the NPA Headquarters in Marina, Lagos.
During a meeting which focused on placing the needed priority on export cargo in response to the national exigency of boosting exports to strengthen Nigeria’s balance of trade, the Authority set a timeline for the strict implementation of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) governing truck management and satellite park operations to ensure adherence to best practices.
The Mohammed Bello KoKo-led management of the Nigerian Port Authority had also recently unleashed stringent measures in collaboration with Lagos State Government to eliminate the decade-long traffic gridlock that had undermined ease of doing business around the Lagos Ports corridor.
